The media that offer in the Schroeder NNZ10V is uniform in shape and smaller than the fibers found in paper elements. The result is a filter element that has more fibers per square millimeter and reduces the amount of particulate capable of passing through the filter by 99.9%. Additionally, the structure of a microglass filter prevents the media from degrading in a way found in paper elements.
