The media that we offer in the Hydac 0240R040AM-KB-V is a Microglass media with water removal. This has the ability to bring high water counts down and to put your mind at ease knowing that your operation is running smooth and dry. While most water removal filter elements utilize low efficiency (nominally rated) media, we have combined the best of both worlds by removing water and maintaining a bx[c] = 1000 particulate removal efficiency. This ensures that gel particles and other types of unwanted matter aren’t released back into your system.

Filter Seal
Due to Viton’s phenomenal chemical resistance, high temperature range and its low compression set, hydraulic filters with Viton O-rings are an excellent choice for anyone that cares about their operation.

Viton o-rings are recommended for:
  • Petroleum oils
  • Di-ester base lubricants (MIL-L-7808, MIL-L-6085)
  • Silicate ester base lubricants (MLO 8200, MLO 8515, OS-45)
  • Silicone fluids and greases
  • Halogenated hydrocarbons (carbon tetrachloride, trichloroethylene)
  • Selected phosphate ester fluids
  • Acids
  • Operating temperature -20°f to 250°f
